This photograph was taken in the fall of 2010. My husband and I took a hike, 3 miles uphill, switchbacks and all, took two hours to complete the hike one way. When we arrived, exhausted, we saw this spectacular view of Lava Lake, in Montana, a bit south of Big Sky.
